Rooted. Grounded. Growing.
Refined by Fire, Carried by Faith
Nicole Sims is the heart behind To the Dreamer and Becoming—a seven-part sonic pilgrimage through the sacred landscape of restoration, surrender, and spiritual renewal.
Rooted in Christ and anchored in honesty, Nicole curates more than playlists—she crafts immersive worship journeys for the soul. With an ear tuned to the whispers of God and a heart for the hurting, she invites listeners into a space where pain is not erased, but redeemed—where songs become altars and silence gives way to healing sound.
Her story carries the weight of deep trauma and abuse, the ache of relational wounds, and the long shadows of false labels—first sown in childhood and echoed in adulthood. Born and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio—where she still calls home—Nicole knows what it is to wrestle with belonging and to search for the steady voice of God in the noise and chaos of life. Through His transforming work, she has walked the slow road from survival toward wholeness, and that journey fuels her desire to help others heal and grow.
Following her passion for writing and creativity, she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and later earned a Master’s in Marketing. This blend of storytelling skill and strategic vision now shapes all she creates for To the Dreamer—where truth and beauty meet to point hearts back to God.
Whether exploring Cleveland’s abundant metroparks, traveling, creating healthy and innovative recipes, or filling pages with words of encouragement, Nicole lives to remind the weary and the waiting that they are seen, known, and loved by God.
